Dr. Mohammed Jiddawi

Dr. Mohammed Jiddawi is currently the Principal Secretary of Zanzibar's Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. Before this recent appointment he was a consultant general and head of the Depertment of Surgery at Zanzibar's Mnazi Mmoja Hospital.

He also runs a small private clinic as well as being a board member of The Zanzibar Ports Authority.

He studied in Romania, Univeristy of Dar-es-Salaam, Japan and in Britain.
