2011 Seven students awarded diploma certificate after finishing their diploma studies. The training was facilitated by Professor Mitchel Strumpf of the University of Dar es Salaam.

Guest musicians from the Ad Lib Tourne Jazz Band from Norway and students from TASUBA in Bagamoyo performed at the Monthly Concert with DCMA Student Band Swahili Vibes.

For the last concert of the Urithi 2010 activities of DCMA students and teachers performed at the Kisonge Open grounds outside of Stonetown, attaracting a big crowd. A wide variety of styles was presented ranging from traditional taarab and ngoma to jazz and dance music.

On 25. September a delegation of 19 Norwegian parlamentarians and diplomats honored DCMA with their visit. We arranged a reception and a taarab and ngoma performance for them.
