Africalia
Founded in 2001 by the Belgian Secretary of State for Development
Corporation with the aim of contributing to well-balanced development
coorporation, based on artistic and cultural production. Africalia is
currently funding DCMA's teachers training program in Egypt and Zanzibar.
Royal Embassy of The Netherlands - Tanzania
Proceeds from performances in Tanzania by a Dutch Jazz Trio was donated to
DCMA to fund the students scholarship scheme.
Gorbach Büro für Gestaltung und Realisierung
Mr. Rudolf Gorbach, head of the Society for
Typography in Germany, designed the DCMA logo as a donation to the
project.
The British Council, Tanzania
The British Council through its Dar es Salaam office has made possible the
introduction of music technology to the Academy by donating a computer
complete with a MIDI Suite.
