All DCMA teachers are experienced musicians and teachers from Zanzibar and the Tanzanian mainland. They are supported by exchange teachers from Norway and Palestine, who work at the DCMA for the period of one year.
DCMA also benefits from workshops held at the Academy by a number of visiting artists and music teachers from around the world.
