We
are now in Semester I of Academic Year 2007/08, scheduled to run for
21 weeks from October 15th to March 8th, 2008.
Currently,
there are about 100 active students/ members are for this semester and
as it has always been the case more are expected to join during the
course of the semester.
Most
students are studying for the 3-year certificate program, which offers
basic training formal qualification in music. Module lessons such as
music appreciation, Choir and 3 levels of Taarab have been introduced
to facilitate the requirements of this course.
